Parents and citizens' association

The Ashbury Public School parents and citizens' association (P&C) is a friendly and interested group of parents who meet at 7pm on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. We work together to support our school through a variety of committees. Together we combine our expertise to enhance the educational experiences of our children.

To support our school, the P&C puts a lot of effort into raising funds to spend on resources our children need to keep receiving the rich and exciting educational opportunities on offer at Ashbury Public School. Our fundraising events include:

  • the Ashbury School fete (held every 2nd year)
  • Mother's Day and Father's Day stalls
  • walkathon
  • school disco

The P&C is a forum in which parents can become involved in their child's school. At meetings, our principal discusses the news of the school and parents are able to have a say in what happens at school and to share thoughts and ideas with other parents and teachers. Being part of the P&C is a great way to find out what is happening in the school and to get involved in making our school a great place for our children and teachers.

Everyone is welcome to attend meetings. We welcome new parents at any time. If you would like to join as a member of the (P&C), it costs $5 and gives you voting rights at meetings.

Please fill out the P&C Membership Form 2021 (PDF 79.8KB) and hand it in to the school office.
